West Memphis angler Mark Rose won the FLW Lake Travis (TX) event today. It was the first time in FLW history for an angler to win back-to-back events as Rose also won the season opener two weeks ago on Alabama's Lake Guntersville. He's won $250,000 and it must be sweet as just prior to the season he was informed as part of the Wal-Mart professional team they were being disbanded due to Wal-Mart's reduced sponsorship of the FLW tour.  He'll be in bigger demand now and is considered one of the nicest guys on the circuit.

Good for him anybody who can get paid for fishing is blessed.
If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.
