I would of voted if you would of included Alabama.  That has got to be one of the most arrogant fan bases around.  The live in the past glory years of Bear Bryant and they all think that Satan is the second coming.  I play golf with two of them and it is often enough to make one want to puke with all the bama love they give each other.

I hate Texas just as much as the next guy, but to me, thats like hating on an ex girlfriend from high school...that was a long time ago.  We are in the SEC now.  It makes sense that our heated rival is someone we play every year.

Yeah, but we grew up being told to hate Texas, and I watched the UT v Ark match ups as a kid.

You do realize that you don't have to attend or have attended the U of A to be a Hog fan, right? In fact, I'd wager that there are probably more Hog fans that never went to school there than fans who did.

yeah , after tx, its definately tennessee..i have always hated usc b/c they were well..from california..  my hate of them isnt hog related, besides they beat  us like rented mules..i dont feel a rivalry with them either..i just hate les miles

I don't know why A&M and USC are on this poll.... Yeah, USC has a few of our players and took us to the woodshed twice... But, hate them?? A&M may have been an old "rival" but I don't "hate" them. The upcoming years may change that however.

As for "hate" and not "rival" I will go in this order.

I actually think the result will be different based on how old you are.  My name is currently being etched in the sidewalk, and my list of hated teams is as follows:

1)  Tennessee
2)  LSU
3)  Texas
4)  UK

To a lot of us younger folks, the Texas hatred is huge, but there's really no basis for it.  I don't remember the classic games we played in the 60s, 70s, and 80s.  My first memory of a Texas game was when C4 smoked them in 00.  Don't get me worng,

Tennessee, however, provides the most disappointed I've ever been in a football game.  Period.  About the time I was gaining appreciation for the game of football was the Stoerner fumble.  It killed me to no end to know that the team that beat us only by the grace of God won the NC that year.  I hate everything about Tennessee.

LSU I hate...no explanation needed.

UK I also hate, but that's as much thanks to the bball rivalry we had in the 90s than anything else.  I'm very indifferent to their school outside the Bball team.

Younger fans wishing the rivalry with and hatred for Texas would go away and be replaced by an equally rabid rivalry with Bama, Ole Miss or LSU may as well wish Hog fans with at least one good eye would think Rosie O'Donnell is hotter than Jessica Alba.
