Not sour grapes but during last night's game

it seemed to me the color analyst was openly rooting for VA Tech.  He was so giddy when VA Tech took the lead.  Atleast twice in the 2nd half he was singing/chanting the VA Tech fight song.
Did anyone else get this impression or was it just me?


btw- had no problem with the play by play guy

His comments about the game always were from the VT perspective.

He was open from the start that he grew up in Virginia an had known many of the VT staff for several years.

That's interesting. 

I screwed the pooch last night and thought the game started at 5:30 central time.  I did all my work, got my snacks and cold one, turned on the TV and first quarter was ending.  I was so pissed until they showed the score was 17-0.
