just wanted to mention how impressed i am with this guy in the NBA... Averaging 20 and 12.  Can any of you even fathom having him playing alongside Hill, Townes and Thomas this year... Probly still have Heath around but no matter because we'd probly be winning enough to enjoy him...

Funny how things work out, if Olu would have panned out, If Big Al would have been a year later and forced to play a season of NCDubya... I guess its true that if ya aim big, ya can fail big... shame it had to happen to us twice in a row though... I guess technically it evens out with Brewer being a stud and Hill & PBev winning F&DPOY awards last season, but damn damn damn... If only.

He's a great player;  it is amazing to think that he's still only 22 years old.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Stan Heath still would be our coach, and we would have made THREE straight tourneys, not TWO, and we'd have been to the Sweet 16 last year, not 1-and-done, had we gotten Al Jefferson for a few years.

heck, even getting Julius Lamptey would ahve done us WONDERS in 05.... that is, unless you wanted us to ride out the 'gomez-baby shaq' train to big man glory....
