Not sure how many cuts he'll make of this list, but it is a great honor.  Did Corliss win this a year or was he just a finalist?

Good stuff, Sully

Congrats to Ronnie.  It'd be even better if there wasn't 49 other guys on the list though.

I recall Corliss being a Finalist maybe both his SOPH and JR years.. Too long ago!!! Anyways, they cut this list down to 30 at mid-season.. so we'll see as the year goes on..

Come on Illini... Giving me a heads up that NO HIGH SCHOOL Girls were not going to be at MEDIA DAY!!!! That is dogging dude !!! haha.. It's all good, I can handle it.. On the time off deal, I try to get out of town as much as I can before Pre-Season Football starts... July is a ratings book, so I have to work, but hey, I've known all this for years.. You would be stunned if I told you how many vacation days Irwin and I miss each year !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only three, by my count, SEC players make this list.  So, according to them Ronnie should easily be on SEC First Team preseason.  Also, I would throw out Rondo for POTY, in the SEC, and that means you have Davis and Brewer.  I know everyone has said this is who it would come down to, but it is nice to see the national scene recognize this and not just us.  Hopefully Ronnie has a great season and makes his way down the list.

Good for him.  Now we just need about 9 more like him on our team.

When Ronnie takes over a game and wins it for us, then I will believe he is a serious candidate.
