Ward is not high on running Pablo Del Monte from the 20 hole ???

Why pay the $$ to enter the horse? Guess he was hoping half the field would scratch or thought he gets the hole from where the horse scratched. Making himself to look like a real idiot, why enter the horse if your not wanting to run from 20?

Wonder if Smith picks up a mount in the Derby?  He's too good not to be riding.

I believe if he picked up a mount in the Derby, the jockey that got removed would be due the amount of money he would have received for riding that horse.  This is only applicable after entries have been taken and the overnights have been released.  Owner would pay double jockey fees.  Every state may have different laws on this but I believe this to be true in Kentucky.
