It Looks Like Teflon Todd Pletcher Is Gonna Clog Up The Gate Again At This Year's Kentucky Derby!

When word came down that Teflon Todd Pletcher had 42 of the 413 horses nominated to this year's Triple Crown, Dead Duck Darnell got physically ill. Last year Dead Duck Darnell had the eventual 3-Year-Old Champion Will Take Charge in the Kentucky Derby, but every time the long-striding colt would try to make a move, some slow-ass critter trained by Pletcher would stagger out and get in the way. In fact, the only time Teflon Todd won a KY Derby in 199 tries, was when his top assistant Mike McCarthy and Calvin Borel baked a Super Saver cake while Teflon Todd was still at Palm Meadows putting the (pardon the pun) finishing touches on Eskendereya. All Teflon Todd had to do that year when he arrived in Louisville was blow out the candles and make a wish. Now Teflon Todd doesn't even have Mike McCarthy to fall back on because he (McCarthy) now trains his own string of race horses in Southern California. That's bad news for poor ol' Dead Duck Darnell, who like Barney Fife, only has one live bullet in his pistol.

John Marshall, the guy in the 10-gallong dunce cap at Calder Casino & Racecourse, has announced that in order to cut costs, Bill "Moammar" Carstanjen at CDI and Russian President Vladimir Putin have signed a five-year deal to pipe a hundred million gallons of Sochi, Russia drinking water into the Calder barnyard, starting just as soon as the Olympic Games are over. According to a press release from CDI's corporate headquarters in Louisville, Bob "The Sausage Man" Evans said the Sochi, Russia drinking water should eradicate all the rats, race horses and trainers at Calder, which will solve 99.9% of all CDI's problems there.
