I've been to every game and I'll hold my opinions after the 3 games this weekend.

Yep, and I won't make any definitive decision after this weekend, as we say, it's a marathon.

Wise.

Beall and Freet will never let me live down my suggesting last year's team "might not" make the NCAA Tournament when they were beaten by Gonzaga.

This! Every year you have those fans that overreact to the first couple weeks of the season.   We've got no idea yet if a lot of these guys can get outs or hit SEC pitching.

And we just played a SWAC team. Those 20 run wins probably hurt our RPI more than they help.

lol, this is baseball you shouldn't make definitive opinions till the tourney field is set, even then those opinion will prolly change inning to inning.

However, this team has exciting potential.

Wasn't he kind of fast?

Not sure which one you mean by "he"?

Benintendi?  Yes.  He clocked a 6.50 in the 60 yard dash in high school and pretty much stayed the same through college.

Eric Cole?  Extra yes.

Eric was also clocking a 6.50 in the 60 yard as a senior in high school.  He has gained about 12 pounds in muscle since then and is punching out around 6.47 now.
