2011 Rivals #1 RB (Malcolm Brown)
7 rushes, 25 yards

2012 Rivals #1 RB (Jonathan Gray)
6 rushes, 9 yards

2014 Rivasl #1 RB (Leonard Fournette)
5 rushes, 9 yards

That's 18 rushes for 43 yards from the top RB from three different years. Wow.

Ya those Texas backs were nothing special.

Fournette is going to deal some misery to LSU opponents the next few years.

Against our two and three-star boys.

Gray was a reach out of Aledo..

But u do know both of the Hogs Backs are 4stars not 3

I think its safe to say that the 2 Texas RBs arent exactly living up to their high school rankings.  Cool stat to have though

Gray had offers from just about everybody.

Stars are meaningless.

Alex was a 5Star by (1) recruiting service for a good awhile during his recruitment.

Having a poor or underperforming O-line will have a very detrimental effect on the performance of a running back, no matter how many stars he might have.

While interesting it proves absolutely nothing concerning the future, particularly when it comes for Fournette. However, if we can hold him to virtually nothing (like the first go around) the next two (or three) times we play LSU then I would say from our standpoint at least he was really no big deal.
