Man, heartbreaker for Buescher and Ford.  Without that camera view it's a Buescher win.

Added a commit from CB Adrian Cole (5-11, 185) who started out at Syracuse then followed his Coach to FIU.

ON3 Portal Profile: https://www.on3.com/db/adrian-cole-1633/

Again A-State is adding much needed maturity, playing experience, along with a talented player at a position where they have some very talented underclassmen but are young. They found out last year their is a downside from being one of the youngest teams in FBS.

AStateNation has published a list of players that have committed this spring behind their paywall, but not all of them have  been made public. Included in the list are a highly rated LB and DE, which are positions where A-State took some late hits through the Portal or other reasons.  Both were 4-Star recruits out of HS.

You just said SMU won't lose to the type of team they have a laundry list history over the past several years of losing to.

Do you want a laundry list of coaches who did well at smaller schools only to not achieve that same success at a higher level? And yes, the ACC is a higher level from what SMU has been at, and still a massive drop down from the SEC for Chamblee.

The explanation below was on a documentary. But it seems reasonable.
In high level baseball the pitches are so fast (especially fast balls) so the batter has to commit to the swing within the first 15ft from the pitchers hand. Basically, it was explained that the batter is "predicting" where the ball will he when it come over the plate and his brain is adjusting the prediction. If the hitter predicts correctly and his brain processes it fast enough then it is a hit. If not its a wiff or foul. That is why sometimes batters look so ridiculous swinging at a pitch in the dirt. We think. Wow that was clearly a ball and a stupid swing.  But that batter commited to swing long before it was obvious.  The BEST hitters have "faster processing" than average batters. So sometimes the batter chooses to not swing early (espcially on curve balls) and then the ball drops in for a perfect strike. But this could all be dudie bc Im NOT an expert in hitting.

Bama football will likely add Wake Forest transfer DB DaShawn Jones: Report

By Matt Stahl |

QuoteKalen DeBoer was right. The spring transfer portal window might be closed, but Alabama football is still reportedly adding talent at a position of need.

According to 247Sports, the Crimson Tide will likely land defensive back DaShawn Jones from Wake Forest. Jones started for the Demon Deacons the past two seasons.

"There's guys that we're working through that we will have visits or we're trying to get them set to come to campus," DeBoer said on Thursday.
