For those that freak out about crystal ball predictions not in our favor.... Grayson Gunter's was 75% Ole Miss.

Welcome Mr. Gunter!

Hard to commit to Ole Miss when they haven't offered.

The_Iceman

Plays the TE position very similar to Hunter Henry. RD said he ran a 4.56 at the Arkansas camp.

Still doesn't change the fact that in this case the prediction(s) were heavily toward OM. And that's a fact.........

Doesn't matter now.  He's a Hog.  We needed a TE. 😐

So, who knows, correct? I take all these offers, ratings, and standings with a grain of salt, no one knows. Yep, looked like he might have jumped in to get that spot, I wonder if we take another one??

What does this mean for Austin Tate? Is he being looked at as a DE?

Well, I figured a Mississippi reporter would have a better idea of what was going on.  It wasn't just a random poster.

A simple "thanks" would have sufficed.

The same still applies, just think of what some of our "reporters" have reported over the years.

And I'm very, very happy to have Grayson.  Not having a committable Ole Miss offer takes nothing away from this commitment.  He'll be a good one.

Don't bring actual information to this board.  It's mocked and frowned upon.

God, I miss recruiting discussion.

No doubt.  This is a great pickup.  Grayson came to camp and EARNED his offer.

It may be true, I just posted what Rivals had, also there is another site saying he chose it over both MS schools. It doesn't matter he chose the Razorbacks.

That size body moving at 4.56, we would take 2-3 a year.  Don't sweat position and other recruits of similar positions just yet.

Ahem, it's either a circle jerk or a tale of the sky is falling on this board.

Everything in this country is so polarizing. People don't want to discuss the gray area with plenty of nuance and subjectivity. It's easier to be a one or a zero.

It was Steve Robertson the Miss St Scout.com version of Dudley/Otis/Trey/Danny and was posted it before he committed here.  RD has never mentioned an OM offer as pointed out above.

all I know is we just went into the state of Miss and signed a kid with an offer from MSU coming off the best season in their history so this is a very impressive get given that we have basically never been able to sign any players from that state in forever

Yep.  He sounds like a slightly slower Matt Jones.  Give me a dozen, please.

Ole Piss must have more tight ends than they can say grace over because this guy has the tools to develop into a really good one. Great job by the staff.
I spent most of my life drankin', gamblin', and chasing women, the rest I just wasted.
