Triple A got his mojo back in the 4th quarter against the Aggies but will he lose it again after that disastrous final pass of the game?

If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

Everything depends on the mental condition of AA and what the coaches allow him to do.  His fourth quarter antics should not be seen as it is seen by the coaches.  which is a low percentage attempt to get points fast.  He should come out of the shoot firing away and mixing it up.  We should attack on O and D for 4 quarters and never back off.  If you are up by 40 at halftime, then insert the seconds with orders to take no prisoners.

The best way to re-condition a mentally ruined team is to refuse to let their balls shrink up.  Don't care if its 4th and goal at the 3 yard line and you are leading 100-0, with 3 seconds left, call timeout and make it clear you expect 6 points on this next play out of the fourth team who should be in by this time.  And if on D under same conditions, call time and promise your D they better not score unless you enjoy conditioning drills.  Demand it and they will produce.

Playing not to lose is no way to win.  F--k it, get up on the wheel and drive this thing, BB.  Maybe that lost look on your face will will recede because if you stay in the game, everyone else will.  When an assistant asked your opinion just say attack on O and D.  If you are going to get beat, get beat refusing to be denied.

As a pocket passer, it depends on whether or not his offensive line shows up and the receiver corps figures out how to actually run routes and get separation.  Good protection + open receivers + completed passes = confidence.

I don't know, will he continue to double clutch on open receivers because he isn't sure, or will he let it rip tater chip and throw occasional picks that he will be lambasted for on this board?  AA is a high risk quarterback when he plays loose like Bret Favre living and dying by the sword.  When your team is physically dominate that overshadows those things and you are a gun slinger with swagger, but when your team needs perfection to win you are a bum when it goes wrong. Same player just different perception.
