No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Go Mizzou!!!!!   Cant stand Kwho especially the majority of the fans.

I haven't seen anything from either team that is all that impressive tonight or throughout the season.  Kansas is very comparable to Kentucky in talent and style of play.  However, Missouri is more of a spread or finesse team without a running back.  It's really unfortunate there won't be an SEC team playing for a NC this year.  I don't think Kansas or Missouri will have a chance to play in national championship game.  In fact, Oklahoma will win the Big 12 title game regardless of who they play.

I can't even get a FG.  Darn it!

I think you'll get your points...both of these teams can move the ball.

They have a good running back...Tony Temple is solid.

RV I agree with you that OU will win the big 2.

It's almost halftime, and I'm not over 20 yet.  I'm officially worried.

Daniel is a great QB.  He's picking the Kansas D apart.

I think an OU / Missouri rematch would be a terrific game.  OU won the first meeting at home 41-31, but Missori was up 24-23 going into the 4th.

Is ESPN carrying that game?

Hey Eerie -- how bout them bad calls now?  Ive counted 3 that got called in KUs favor the last 5 minutes.  Just like in basketball, KU getting the breaks in poorly called games.

Yes, I have liked Chase since last year, he makes everyone look good around him. But also, J-Mac is AMAZING! (Jeremy Maclin) - I hope Mizzou beats Oklahoma in a rematch. GO TIGERS!

I'm beginning to doubt your 64 points tonight Erie...

I agree completely.  this is really the #2 vs #4?  WOW.   I will give mizzou a little credit, I believe they are definitely a top 25 team.  although they have shown very poor clock management in the 4th quarter.

Kansas is mediocre at best.  mizzou should win this game easily, unless they keep throwing the ball on 2nd and 6 with 20 seconds left on the play clock.

Any other year, these are the number 13 and number 18 teams playing.  This year, it's wacky.

3rd and 14, and a pass was thrown beyond that which was necessary to get the first down.

Is that legal?

Daniel is clutch.  What's impressed me about Missouri is how well coached they are.  The guys watch the balls all the way into their hands.  They catch the ball before running.  Other than the holding calls, they are fundamentally very sound.  I'm not sold that they are number 1, but they are good.  I enjoy watching well coached teams execute.

Oklahoma will steamroll Mizzou (or KU if they pull it out which looks doubtful at this point).  Then we'll have a WVU v Ohio State NC or some crap like that.  Yet another year screaming for a playoff.  It's the BCS where it pays to play in a conference that pads your stats.

I checked.  In 49 of the 50 states this is a legal strategy.  Alas, it has been outlawed by the Assistant Governor of Sports and Morality for the Great State of Arkansas.  When caught executing said play, you must leave the team and transfer to USC.

The BCS conferences don't really care who wins the NC...as they get paid.  Regardless, they get their money.

Field goal kicker is clutch for Missouri (unlike the three misses on Kansas)

REALTOR Hog

Has anyone mentioned Missouri's coach Gary Pinkel in our Coaching decisions? He has implemented the spread at Missouri and is running the ball out of it, passing the ball out if it, and winning with it. Now that Broyles is gone.. Meyer has shown the spread will work in the SEC.. I wish we would get a coach who would do it at Arkansas!

I'm sure "Experts" will say that it still won't work. :)

Kansas just screwed that up.

Did they forget you can onside kick on a free kick attempt?

"The Outsider" here, celebrating a huge win for the Alma Mater. I don't care what happens next week, considering we just dropped a GIANT dookie on KU. Wiped out a perfect season, a Big 12 North title, a chance for the Big 12 title, a chance at a #1 ranking and a national title opportunity. Very sweet. All I need now for a perfect weekend is to see your suffering end with the humiliating dismissal of Houston Nutt.

Go Mizzou!

Congrats shakin...Your boys controlled this game from the beginning.
