Kickoff looked like a Natinal Championship game. What an atmosphere there in KC tonight.

O-O early in the 1st qtr.

MIZZOU with a 3 and out.

KU with the ball now.

GO KANSAS! :)
And in the 10th year, the Razorback faithful finally fired Houston Dale Nutt! Preach this, brotha!

This is a Mizzou offense that has gone 3-and-out 12 times in the past 10 games.

Kansas doing a good job early.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Are they sort of overrated?  Neither one had to face Texas and Kansas didn't play OU either.  Kansas has only played one ranked opponent until tonight.  MO has played 3 ranked teams and beat two of them.

MO beat IL, Ole Miss by 13 and lossed to #6 OU by 10.

09/01 at Illinois W 40-34
09/08 at Ole Miss W 38-25
09/15 W Michigan W 52-24
09/22 Illinois St W 38-17
10/06 #25 Nebraska W 41-6
10/13 at #6 Oklahoma L 41-31
10/20 #24 Texas Tech W 41-10
10/27 Iowa St W 42-28
11/03 at Colorado W 55-10
11/10 Texas A&M W 40-26
11/17 at Kansas St W 49-32
11/24 at #2 Kansas 0-0

KU had beat well ummmmm I guess #24 KSU

09/01 C Michigan W 52-7
09/08 SE Louisiana W 62-0
09/15 Toledo W 45-13
09/22 Fla Int'l W 55-3

11/17 Iowa St W 45-7
11/24 #4 Missouri 0-0

Could be the type of call that backfires, though;  if this is a 2 point game at the end, or if Kansas grabs momentum off of that, it may be a terrible call.

The counter-argument is that they have done what no other BCS school can say they've done, at Kansas--  beaten everyone on the schedule.

Just my observation...Living here in KC I have been exposed to this Kansas team and I have to say that I am very impressed with the way they play as a team.

None of their players are what would be considered "outstanding talent" (Although Reesing is close), but the way they work together with everyone doing handling their assignment is impressive to me.

I think Mangino has done an outstanding job with this group.

hogs25

They said on ESPN that there are over 100,000 people at the Bama/AU game.  I didn't know AU held that much.

RickyRoma

Erie I agree with the fake call...Hindsight being 20-20, I think the field goal would have been the call.

This game is sure to be close and hard-hitting until the end.  I would have taken the 3 and momentum.

MIZZOU is rolling. FUmbled but recovered.

1st and Goal Mizzou inside the 5 yard line.

I wouldn't call it rolling;  getting some productivity, but have had to convert on multiple third downs.   Kansas is starting to punch them in the mouth-- and how Mizzou answers that will say a lot about this game's outcome.

Kansas has to improve the run defense.  No penetration, and the LBs are on their heels.

Just need to be a little more consistent;  they'll stuff the run half the time, get gashed the other;  cover up deep and force a dump off one play, and give up a throw over the top in 2-deep.

This is their first SEC big game atmosphere.  The jury's still out with these two maybe another hour or two will tell the tale.  That was a nice hit by KU BTW.
