How does this (meltdown that is not his fault) affect his NFL draft status?

Shouldn't hurt his draft status. He's still got a looong season to go, I think he'll still put up big numbers and be drafted high.

HF#1

It shouldn't but if he plays against Alabama, that game will affect his draft status.

Not if he gets destroyed every weekend.

Well yeah, that's obvious.

He can't deal with the rush of a Sunbelt team..... how do you think he'd do vs. an NFL defense?

Wilson can flat throw the ball........ however he's got to read and get the ball out much, much faster.

I see Wilson being drafted much like Mallet.   3rd round

RM was actually a 1st round football player though.

He played behind a line made up of Nutts zone run blockers and never took weekly beatings.

He's suppose to block for himself and play QB?

We just need to have players who block and more specifically, do their job and know when they have the hot route on a blitz starting TE, as that was the hit that did Tyler in.

When you've got 5 blocking and 6 are coming the QB has to account for that.

TW sat behind RM for a reason..... and it sure wasn't throwing.

His football IQ was far beyond anyone else in the draft........  TW doesn't come close.

Hes going to get injured bad enough to be late 2nd day pick if at all if he keeps playing. He needs to hire an agent this week and be done.

Think what you want.  No other QB in that draft could do the things he could do........

Tyler played, we lost.

Allen added to the lead, we lost.

The point total when TW exited should have been enough. Even when it wasn't, you don't pass pass pass. Running the ball milks the clock.
I'm only responsible for what I say, not how you perceive it.

HIRE AN AGENT. YESTERDAY. YOUR WORK HERE IS DONE.

It is selfish and foolish to not try to convinvce him of this.

So you're saying that if TW played the 2nd half, you think we would of only scored 7 more points?
It doesn't change the fact that our Defense is awful right now, but yes, if Tyler Wilson had played the 2nd half we would have at least won the ballgame.

HogInFlorida

Tyler will be one of the first QBs to go in the draft if not the first and he will have a solid Jay Cutler type career. Thats my prediction.

I'd rather be hit over the head with a brick than have to revisit the memories of those seven awful months with coach "Smile" in charge.

I'm as upset about the loss as everyone, but nobody's delusional enough to believe if Tyler Wilson played that 2nd half we still would have lost. Our offense crapped the bed when we had to scheme around a freshman who had a bad night.
