Jerry will own the NFL.......

His salary would be $1 per year because he doesn't need the money.

I know this is a running joke but Pepsi is a university decision.  If you want us to go back to Coke then contact their CEO and tell him to offer more money.

Beyond that:

The Cowboys serve Pepsi.

I've seen several posters mention Stephen Jones.

I also have one question: Why the hell would he take this job? Do you guys know what his role is within the Cowboys (aka the most valuable sports franchise in the world) organization?

even if coke is more expensive than pepsi, if its what the fans want, they will buy it.

Coke and Pepsi bid on exclusive provider rights. Pepsi bid a lot more than coke. Contract prohibits coke just like the coke contract prohibited pepsi.

I realize that it is an exclusive provider thing, but they don't pay us to sell soda.  that sounds kind of backwards from the whole capitalism thing.

They paid $20m for a 10 year exclusive right to sell their product on campus. They may have Coke in the Union, can't remember from the last time I was in there, about 7 years ago.

They're paying uthe UA something like 20 million dollars over the life of the contract.  I don't think the UA directly buys much of the pop, either. All the vendors that service UA, like chartwells, would be the ones doing that.

Yeah, that's why I said the other son. Or Shy. The Phi Delts would go crazy.

Mods please delete this.  Jerry Jones is running the #1 sports organization in the world.  He would never give that up to be our
AD.

I think the walmart in the parking garage does, but there was a big stink about it.

There is always a secret vending machine.

In regards to the Union -  I've always thought they should open up the Chartwell restaurants on gameday.  There is a Chic-fil-A that would make a ton of money.

The only thing he'll land softly in is a double scotch and a bottle of viagra that doesn't work.

okay, now I feel dumb, but then again, if pepsi has to pay 20 million to force people to drink it, then that should tell you something.

Coke pays money too.

Hell, Coke pays Nick Saban just to have a bottle on the podium during press conferences.

All I need is good coffee and bottle water so the rest of ya'll can engage is soft drink wars.

Maybe we need to sign a deal with Sam's:
