Or for that matter empty backfield sets.
Unless the play breaks down I believe at the most our QB is maybe considering only one or two possible options. If we are going to be a running team we need on most plays a fullback and a tailback in the backfield.
Hog fan since 1960. So thankful for Sam Pittman.

We ran the ball well when we went north and south or with jet sweeps. Like having a lead blocker on power and iso plays. I don't like the toss plays to the boundary. We ran it several times today for little to no yardage but Enos kept trying it.  Slow developing plays are low percentage plays for this team.

the single back set is terrible.

You need a dominant OL to clear space and we certainly do not have that.

Running 2 TE and 1 TB while bringing WR in and trying to fight in a phone booth is not conducive to big running plays when you do not have the talent to overwhelm the defense hat on a hat.

Bert is godawful.

For coaches on the board, is it possible for us to install a little zone read with Kelly?  Would seem to play to our only strength at this point.
