Tough loss today, but for most of this season I have seen the type of attitude from Macon and Barford that we used to see out of the Razorbacks during Nolan's glory days.

They may not lead this team to a championship, but I see the as them as the type of guys that will leave their stamp on the program next year, much like what Sheppard and Hawkins did, playing with Corliss and Scotty during their freshman years.

I think they both have big seasons next year and solidify our place back on the national stage and pave the way for the talent that will be coming in for the next several years.

I'm not sure what their ceiling is, but they're reminiscent of the Louisville backcourt that won the title in 2013, albeit with a different skill sets. Macon is more similar to Russ Smith the way he can be a one man fast break with his quickness and speed. I think they're more talented than Hawkins and Sheppard though.

Shep and Hawk weren't nearly so offensively oriented.

We do need a guard in their mold, though, defensively.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Agreed. The comparison was more to their tough-nosed, chip on the shoulder attitude than style of play. And the fact that they are guards that are leaders of the team. When was the last time we had two guards that were the true leaders of our team? Bradley and Reid?

We've had leaders.  Just not good ones.
