Riverfront Steakhouse served the best I've had in Little Rock.

Technically in NLR, haha. Yeah, I've had a good steak there, and at Arthur's, Doe's, and at the Capitol hotel. As far as the overpriced comments, I don't remember too many places where they "weren't", but I still order them!

You are right about Little Rock/North Little Rock, but I don't think anyone outside of Central Arkansas or heir natives think of them as different.

Hogg's meat market in NLR has some excellent Steaks I cook myself.

True dat.

When I still lived in Sherwood, I'd get steaks from Hogg's all the time and never got a bad one.

It may be the case that you can buy A&M tickets. When I called the ticket office and inquired about tickets to out off state games the response the ticket rep gave was what I stated. My post was based on the information they provided. If I caused confusion I apologize.

Yeah, I think that's the secondary market prices for those games. You know, like someone asking $687 for an Arkansas/Bama ticket today, again asking, haha.

Your right.  The TCU and SEC road games have a specific allotment donated to visiting teams.  TCU is smaller than most of opponents because their stadium has a capacity of 50,000.

SW Classic allotment is split 50/50 between both teams.  You can get tickets via the Razorback Foundation for as low as $85 right now.

I'll be in the exact same seats for the third year in a row for the Aggies. Row 1 of the upperdeck. It is Heaven up there.

Sonny Williams' steaks are overpriced, IMHO.

Best steak I ever had in central Arkansas was at Sir Loin's Inn back in the day...

Sir Loins was the best when open. I worked there in high school in the late 80's. Best. Job. Ever.

One of my old college roommates was a waiter at Sir Loin's.  He'd started in high school and kept the job during college.  We knew he did well, but when he was about to graduate and started interviewing for marketing jobs with companies, he turned the first few offers down because he said he made more at Sir Loin's.

Arthur's prime steak house is the perfect blend of southern hospitality and good food says one customer on Foursquare.  Ask for the filet mignon and order a freshly made chocolate soufflé' for desert.

It will more than likely be announced two weeks ahead of time, unless CBS uses  the 6? day option.

Lots of guys made more there than they could at "real jobs". Those guys knew how to party too. The drunkest I have ever been was my sophomore year with a bunch of the waiters.

Going with a group of college buddies. One of them got his undergrad from Arkansas and just got his MBA from TCU last year (Bleeds Razorback Red). He has a tailgate setup already... We're staying with my inlaws.

I purchased tickets mid-July. All lower level seats were $125 and up when I ordered them, so I imagine they may have gone up by now. I've heard there isn't a bad seat in the house though, since their "upper-deck" isn't really that high up.

I'm not in charge of booking the hotel, but I think we are staying downtown. Saw some reasonable rates back in July ($120/night) but haven't looked since.

Hope everyone has a safe trip down to Fort Worth, to Call the Hogs all the way to a much-needed early season victory! WPS!!!  :razorback:

I don't have tickets but am still interested in going.

I know I can call the ticket office, but someone here may know if there's any chance at getting tickets still (through our office). I've been a Hog season ticket holder for 10 years, but I'm not super high in the pecking order of longevity and/or donations. This has kept me from getting away-game tickets before.

For you guys who got tickets through Arkansas' office, what section(s) are we in?

I think that our allotment sold out pretty quick.  TCU's stadium only has a 50k capacity so the visitor section is smaller than most away venues.

You can still buy tickets to the AnM, Auburn, Mississippi State, and Mizzou game via the Foundation.

Here is a stadium map for TCU:

Visitor sections look to be 226-229 and 412-416.
