Calipari lands Team USA U-19 coaching gig

U-18 team last summer featured UK signees P.J. Washington and Quade Green, Wildcats freshman Hamidou Diallo (who is redshirting this season) and top uncommitted recruiting target Mo Bamba. All of them would be top candidates for Calipari's U-19 team.

U-19 national team will be made up of players 19 years or younger, meaning current college freshmen, incoming freshmen and rising high school seniors will be in the mix. Calipari will not only get a jumpstart on coaching some of his incoming freshmen, but also have a new level of access to the next wave of top recruits.
