***Southern Oaks**** (Formally known as Foxwood)

Is opening April 1st as a private club.  They are under new ownership and have enough funds to open.  However, they are still in need of members.  It will be a private club and you can get a sweet deal if you sign up for a membership before April 1st.  If you are under 32 it's even sweeter.  It's a 1 year commitment.



They are getting the course ready as we speak.  The greens are fabulous and have been covered all winter.  The fairways were filling in nicely before and should be good come warmer weather. They will cater to members and I can vouch for the new membership.  They are good people and want Southern Oaks to be a staple of the community in Jacksonville.  If you live in the Cabot/Jacksonville area and play a lot of golf please check into it.  They had some membership drives leading up to now but I can get the info for you if you need it just send me a pm.

Again if you are younger, it's really a good deal.  I was a member at Foxwood and will be a member at Southern Oaks. It's a family atmosphere with a full bar and grill.  Really good people and a lot of fun golf.  You'll never have a hard time finding a game.
