1998.  Clint Stoerner was the returning single season passing yards record holder (1997) and Madre Hill was the returning Freshman RB yardage record holder (1995) coming back off a bad knee injury.  Chrys Chucumbwa (sp) was a pretty darn good backup at RB as well also coming back off an injury.  And, by the way, the Hogs were breaking in a new coach.

Sound familiar?  A lot of comparisons can be made between 1998 and 2012 leading up to the season.  How it will play out is yet a mystery, but I for one would not bet for a lower W/L record than 10-3.
