AUSTNXHOG, thank you for posting this.  I think the least we can do is support the players who are considering playing for us.  I hope this guy does become a Hog.

I voted for Devwah, but he needs a lot more votes.

The guy who ran for 329 yards and scored 10 TDs was leading the voting with 67% after I voted.  Devwah was in third place with 8.9% of the votes.

I can't sleep.  ;)

Translation: there's about to be a change in the standings.   ;D

Rumor has it that the power of Hogville can do some amazing things.

Devwah Whaley's updated stats for this week:

125 yards, 5 TDs, another 2 spots in the Vype Player of the Week poll, and 51% of the vote.

I would love to see Mr. Whaley in the Cardinal Red & White calling the Hogs! Woo Pig!!!

Oh...I almost forgot...voted.

Dang, that's an impressive stat line.  What's the story there?  Small school?  I tried googling it, but couldn't find a player profile, not even a news story.

Voted - Does he understand the real power of Hogville when it comes to voting. :)

Not voting for a kid who isn't committed.  Maybe it's petty of me, but I can't see bolstering the credentials of a guy that may end up somewhere else.

Whaley's top 4 are:

Arkansas
Texas
Georgia
Texas a&m
Seriously? I get Georgia! But, why a stud RB would go to a spread school like UT or aTm is career suicide! How many yards do their feature backs have thus far?

I would say its between us and Georgia. I may be wrong tho.

It's been heavily speculated by TAMU and Arkansas recruiting writers that he's a silent UGA commit.

Why would he be a silent commit, what advantage does it give him? Georgia already has Holyfield, are they afraid they'd lose him? Just asking, I don't see how it would make any difference, unless from the home folks, and it's not like a lot of kids leave Texas.

I don't know.  UGA has a way of getting truly elite RB's two at a time, though.  It's crazy.

No doubt, but talent never has been a problem, unless at QB at times.

I'm not saying he's coming, but it's not a slam dunk he's not.
