Arkansas coach Eric Musselman left the court in a tirade, Jack Weaver - a reporter for The Kentucky Kernel - after the Razorback fell 67-61 to No. 18 Texas A&M in the quarterfinal of the SEC men's basketball tournament on Friday.

In the process, Weaver claims, a Razorbacks assistant grabbed his phone and threw thrown to the ground as they exited the coach.

Completely torn up in attempting to construct these paragraphs and perhaps experiencing PTSD from attempting to cover Nick Saban.

Attempting to diagram the first sentence can lead to a migraine.

To endure is oft used for a long-illness, a terrible tragedy, perhaps being the victim of a wrong-doing.

It's kinda like when Nate Oats claims the team has endured so much.

So we you engage in behavior that potentially killed a now former teammate, a female staffer, injured another potential draft pick and seriously injured another female staffer and you might lose a lot of money over your potential draft pick due to your entitled environment in which you lived, it is now a case in which you endure this set of circumstances.

Given what the Georgia star endured on and off the field during the pre-draft process, one would understand the relief he'll likely experience when he no longer has to worry about how his stock will be impacted. Of course, there'll still be questions circling about Carter as someone who could be considered the ultimate "boom or bust" pick.

The game-changing defensive tackle didn't just have the misdemeanor racing and reckless driving arrest after his alleged role in the tragic crash that took the lives of UGA offensive lineman Devin Willock and recruiting staffer Chandler LeCroy. Carter didn't participate in drills at the NFL Combine, and at Georgia's Pro Day, he weighed in 9 pounds heavier than he was in Indianapolis and he couldn't finish position drills.

Whoever drafts Carter will do so hoping that the dude who tore up the SEC is simply going through a rough time, and that he didn't just flash red flags to his future employer.

There's a path for Carter to have a great NFL career, and it looks a whole lot like the one Laremy Tunsil followed.

Four days after Carter's frustrating Pro Day showing, Tunsil made history. He signed a 3-year, $75 million contract with $60 million in total guarantees to stay with the Houston Texans and become the highest-paid offensive tackle in NFL history. The former Ole Miss star is set to lead all NFL offensive tackles in average annual salary ($25 million) and more important, he's a franchise cornerstone for a franchise lacking cornerstones.

It's remarkable to think what Tunsil has done to move past his pre-draft moment that'll live in infamy. When the video of Tunsil's gas mask bong surfaced merely minutes before the 2016 NFL Draft, panic set in. Someone widely considered to be a top-6 pick fell to the Dolphins at No. 13 overall. Two offensive linemen (Ronnie Stanley and Jack Conklin) went before Tunsil. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Ravens absolutely would've selected Tunsil at No. 6 overall had the gas mask video not surfaced. Instead, they took Stanley.

The Dolphins, however, had unanimous approval from their 4 top decision-makers to select the Ole Miss offensive tackle. To them, the "boom" factor outweighed whatever "bust" factor arose with the gas mask video.

In the end, we know how that played out.

What Jalen Carter has endured is what is known as being self-inflicted.

College football player Jalen Carter was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation after entering no contest pleas to misdemeanor charges tied to his involvement in a fatal January car crash that killed one of his teammates and a staff member, his attorney announced Thursday.

In addition to the year of probation, Carter's sentence requires him to pay a $1,000 fine, perform 80 hours of community service and complete a state-sanctioned driving course, attorney Kim Stephens said in a news release.

Carter, a defensive lineman for the University of Georgia's Bulldogs football team who was once a top prospect for the current NFL draft, turned himself into police in Athens — where the campus is located and where the deadly crash took place — shortly after authorities issued warrants for his arrest in early March.

The Athens-Clarke County Police Department had previously announced that Carter, 21, faced charges for reckless driving and racing in connection with the accident. At the time, booking records showed that Carter surrendered to police at around 11:30 p.m. on the night of March 1 and was released before midnight on $1,500 bond for the reckless driving charge and $2,500 bond for the racing charge.

The charges stemmed from a car crash that occurred near the university early on the morning of Jan 15. Initially characterized by police as a single-vehicle wreck, the accident resulted in the deaths of Devin Willock, a 20-year-old offensive lineman for the Bulldogs, and Chandler LeCroy, a 24-year-old football recruiting analyst for the team who had previously earned her degrees from the University of Georgia. Willock was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. LeCroy was transferred from the scene to a nearby hospital where she died from her injuries.

There was little doubt entering Thursday that Carter, who was considered a potential No. 1 overall pick heading into the Combine, lost some money in the past few months. The question was how much and who would end Carter's tumultuous pre-draft process?

Self-inflicted draft drop after pleading no contendre and getting 12 months misdemeanor for street racing the drunken recruiting coordinator escorting two teammates and another recruiting coordinator while hauling two passengers of his own. His involvement regarding leaving the scene of the crime is dependent on whether he could have been of help (he could've been) and his own conscience.

The inference in the linked article is that Carter's "torpedo" was launched from an enemy sub when it was most certainly launched by the USS Jalen Carter.

Are off-field issues a distraction — or a rallying cry?
It's no secret Georgia has had a tumultuous offseason.

Beginning with the tragic deaths of player Devin Willock and staffer Chandler LeCroy in a car wreck on the night after the team celebrated its championship victory, the team faced an offseason full of legal challenges and explosive newspaper reports.

The team took the unprecedented step to push back against the latter, and by all accounts appears undeterred in its insistence of being in the right.

This is in no way intended to trivialize anything that has gone on off the field for the Bulldogs, but I'd argue the team could see this as a distraction or a rallying point.

If there's one thing Kirby Smart does better than arguably anyone in college football, it's galvanize his team behind perceptions of disrespect.

Disrespect is different than disregard

When "no way intended" is followed by "but" then all that came before is bull.

Georgia linebacker Jamon Dumas-Johnson insisted Thursday there is no speeding culture in Athens.

Dumas-Johnson was charged with drag racing and reckless driving from an incident dating to the night of Georgia's national title. It was one of several speeding issues the football program has endured this offseason.

"(There's) no culture about speeding. Mine was before everything hit the Internet and stuff like that," he said.

I agree with his denial of "Georgia's culture of speeding". Their collective behavior before, during and after their national championship celebration is an insult to culture.

Like how the aggregator modified his direct quote to take out the triple negative, yet the headline writer left it in as this is an Alabama media outlet.

Jalen Carter was charged in March with street racing and reckless driving for his actions in the early hours of Jan. 15, when Georgia staffer Chandler LeCroy crashed while racing with Carter. LeCroy and Bulldogs offensive lineman Devin Willock were killed in the wreck, which also injured two others and resulted in a lawsuit brought forth by Willock's family. Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint was arrested in May on charges of reckless driving and speeding-maximum limits.
