It's how we lost that has the "haters" as you call us upset, not that we lost.
With Pel coaching no one really thought we was going to win, especially with 6 scholli players. We just didn't know his coaching was this bad. Now we do and we want a change. Call us what you want.

You don't get everything you want and i'm sorry but we aren't looking for another coach at this moment in time :)

I don't think there's anyone on here that want Ark. to lose. We're just tired of the style of coaching. (Losing).
Don't believe me? Ask Bob Knight, you think maybe he ought to know?

So that would make Stan Heath a better coach because he "SPANKED" The  Texas Tech Red Raiders in Texas.....ask Bobby Knight he ought to remember..

And where is Heath now?  Also, what year did Heath win 2 or less games in conference play.......Help me out, because I don't remember.
Also, Pel beat Oklahoma and Texas and that translated into what???..........Nothing.

Heath is being buried under NCAA rules violations that threaten to inundate his South Florida program;  Pel is about a game off of Heath's SEC career win rate.

No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

And Where is Bobby Knight now....he beat Texas & Oklahoma in conference and that Translated into what in the Big12.(No Big 12 South 1st places finishes or Tourney Championships).  He never won more than 23 games in 8yrs as Texas Tech Head Coach..... John Pelphrey accomplished that in 2007.

What specifically about his coaching is bad?  Im tired of the blanket bad coach statement that people who have no clue about the game of basketball use. So please explain.

Florida's now up by 20 in second half.  Auburn lost.  Alabama is having a tough time with Providence.

He can't consistently beat deeper and more talented teams.  That's why he sucks.

if we were as bad as everyone says we are and Pelphrey is as bad as the haters want everyone to believe, we would have lost Friday night.

I have a problem with his second half adjustments.  Last year we were constantly getting burned from 3 point land, especially in the 2nd half.  This is what frustrated me about the Louisville game too.  I completely understand why we started in the 2-3 zone, that was the correct decision.  But when they start torching us at the 3 point line we need to at least try to make a correction rather than just concede the game.  Honestly, why not try changing, at worst we maybe lose by 35 instead of 30.

My other problem with his coaching is the way the team regressed in conference play last year.  I can't think of one player who got better as the year went on last year.  That is particularly bad when you think of how many freshman we played and they should be making strides as they gain experience.

Getting drummed by Central Florida.   :o

Then I fully expect us to win both games against them this year.

Well, we have a problem White Hair.

I am for Pelphrey, want him to stay, believe he is on the verge of bringing the program back, and if so, hope he is here a long time, practicing in the new Pelphrey Center basketball practice facility.

They beat us by 20 at our house last year. I'm not about to bad mouth them. Weird darn always happens with Auburn bball to us. Just like Ole Miss.

As much trash as everyone is talking about the other SEC teams, you better not sit here and say you're cool with anything less than 8-8.

I guess I'd be fine with 7-9 but anything less than 7 is under achievement with this SEC.
