if we wish to stay in the game this Saturday, our offense HAS to stay on the feild. That's what beat us against LSU. We'd either go 3 and out or hit the homerun ball and then our D was so tired and then had to go right back in. We need to substain a few drives and try to keep the Hog's offense off the field, but then again it doesn't take McFadden but 7 seconds to score

I was at the Tennessee game in '99. Got my tix through the UT athletic department. Rocky Top wasn't the song that I got tired of hearing. It was that one refrain from Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" that got on my nerves. I guess because they play that every time UT did something good. Must say that the UT fans we were around that day were very nice and respectful and even gave us a couple of Orange and White Pom-Poms as "Tennessee scalps" after we won the game. NEVER saw THAT kind of class from Texas, I must say.

Hey sickemsmokey10, not everyone on here will mistreat you.  I just moved from the Chattanooga area a couple of years ago and, back in 1998, I was fortunate enough to be at two of UT's three pivotal games (Florida and Arkansas).  At the Florida game there were 108,000+ fans on hand, which was a record at the time.  When Florida missed the field goal giving Tennessee the win, that place went wild.  The original "Rocky Top" by the Osborne brothers was blaring over the sound system with 108,000 Tennessee rednecks singing it at the top of their lungs.  Like the song or not, that was a great moment in NCAA football and I'm glad I was there listening and watching as the goal posts were torn down. 

Good luck Saturday but I have to tell you, after 1998 and 2002, the Hogs are due.

Hate to tell you guys that Fulmer only suspended Foster for one half of the Arkansas game. Man that coach is tough on those kids. Since Foster starts he only got a half game suspension.... the reserves got more.
