I know a lot of you want Ole Miss to beat Auburn and I admit it would be poetic justice and downright funny,  but it would be bad for us.  We need Auburn to keep winning for two reasons.

1.  It continues to validate us and our victory over them.

2.  It continues to motivate us.  It's possible we could let down if we get more cushion for the
     West division race.

I was watching the Navy/ND game and the announcers were talking about when Arkansas beat AU that it shocked the football nation.

Maybe to them it was a shock but I believe if we played AU 10 times we'd win 9.  They are way too over-rated.  OM has one 5 games in 2 year's.  Enough said.

It should be clear to all that we ARE better than them.  We held Ole Piss to fewer points and dominated throughout the game.

AU is over ranked and outmatched when it comes to Arkansas and it's time the voters reflected that in the polls this coming week.

What sucks is that Ol Miss has not shown the ability to hold on. In the end, auburn will do some thing to win, and instead of moving down in the polls, they will move up.

If you are a darling of the polls like them you can come out of a close win w/ people thinking you are Great for wining. Even though we killed Ol Miss.

I agree that Auburn may be in a better position to win this game (Haven't really shown it yet though).

BUT, when you compare the margin of victory (and the fact that we smoked au-burned at their place), the Razorbacks will have the edge and should be able to move ahead of Auburn based on their mutual performances.

  The goal this season is not to get to the national title game.  IMO it is to get to the SECCG and let the rest play out from there.  We aren't going to move down the ratings just because Auburn losses, we need as much cushion as we can get with three tough SEC games coming up.  If Auburn loses today we only have to beat one of three: SC, TN, or LSU.  Besides, winning the SEC is harder than winning any other conference.  It won't hurt the computer rankings because with the Auburn loss factored in it also adds the Ole Miss win, it would still help.  Go Rebs.
