Clemson shapes up as a good road game for the Hogs to use to bounce back from a disappointing but not overall too deflating loss at Iowa State. 

The Tigers are primarily a defensive team.  They will look to slow the pace of the game down and keep the total scoring low.  Their 5 starters average 28 minutes per game or more and feature 2 Seniors, 1 Junior, 1 Sophomore, and 1 Freshman. 

They've posted losses this season to Rutgers, Gardner-Webb, and Winthrop.  Three teams that are having struggles of their own.  The loss to Gardner-Webb can be attributed at least partially to a Chris Weber Timeout (that's a timeout when you ain't got none) and resulted in free throws for Gardner-Webb.

Clemson's advanced stats don't look that bad, though they do turn the ball over on more than 15% of possessions, and a large part of that is every starter averaging a turnover a game, and 6' 10" Center Landry Nnoko averaging a turnover on 1 out of every 4 touches. 

The best win for Clemson this season was a win over LSU (the same LSU that knocked off West Virginia on the road last night).  During that game, they did everything wrong, and still managed to win thanks to a very poor shooting effort from LSU including 1 of 13 from beyond the arc. 

Arkansas should have advantages at every position on the floor and if they can press the pace of play should enjoy a strong outing against the Tigers.  Clemson is particularly weak at defending the three, so it could be a nice bounce back for an Arkansas team that shot a season low 36% from beyond the arc in the Iowa State Game last night.

Clemson is 4-3, which doesn't seem very impressive after looking at their schedule.

Our boys have to defend better firstly. Never mind the offense.

This looks like an Arkansas' victory, in spite of where the game is payed.  But I would not bet on it.

I don't know that CMA puts the fear/respect in his players that Nolan did. Last night's 1st half defensive result was not good. Or, is it the case that CMA failed to adjust defensively?

Either way, poor results against a good team.
