BWA sure isn't what it could be. Darn shame too. Folks want a winner and won't start attending until they're satisfied. Sad thing is a rowdy home crowd would help the process.

They've got a winner.   They just want a special type of winner, in an increasingly competitive entertainment market.

No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

nice way to put it. Our fans used to support our team with the best of them.

I don't like our chances. MA needs this one or 0-3 SEC start is likely and same ole same ole....

Central Arkansas disagrees with you!!!!

I would imagine it's a little easier to fill up the arena for one game a season than it is to fill it up 15 or 20 times a season.

It appears our fans will turn out for an average football team But football has actually had much better recent success than basketball with the sugar bowl and top 5 finish. The bowl win over Texas also charges up the fan base.
Basketball has been a real struggle since the mid 90s.
Fans have been so bored with a middling product. It has been exactly 20 years since we were in the second weekend of the ncaat. Reid, Bradley, and hood played for Nolan the last time we won two games in the dance.
The roller coaster ride with mostly dips has finally caught up with us. I still love going to games especially when we have a good team to watch but it may take a sweet 16 appearance or two to bring back the passionate basketball fan base we used to have.

The bud needs to be lively and rockin tomorrow night. Only a handful of times since 2009 has it shown flashes of what we used to be. The epic/ rowdy Oklahoma and Texas wins preceding the epic 2-14 sec collapse dealt us a more deadly blow than it seemed at the time.
Tomorrow night needs to be the beginning of a rebirth. Would be great to be good enough to get a good NCAA seed in Tulsa.

We have beaten better Florida teams with less at BWA.  I think the crowd will be better than anticipated too.  Still a coin flip, but I think this team can pull it off.

Lets just start with one game

I get that. Still, it's the Hogs playing. Wish I could be at every game. It just doesn't register with me how a Hog fan with enough money and close enough to just decide not to go support their team in good and tough times. That's just me.

I'm with you. I'll be disappointed if the place isn't on fire tomorrow night. It will be special for me win or lose since I'll be taking my little girl to her first basketball game.
Bwa is a very special place to me since I grew up going to games there and I cannot wait to introduce that to my first born.

Yep. And to be fair, there's still a base of fans going consistently. I just hate hearing some say they'll wait until we make a tourney run when the reality is a strong homecourt advantage could help this team position themselves for such a run.

Yes I'm hoping the fans will come back and lift these guys up and give them the support they deserve win or lose tomorrow.

Excuses. You all haven't had 8000 up there the whole season. Little Rock puts 12,000 in the seats against a lame opponent and all we hear about is how the crowd wasn't loud enough. Most of you live within 30 miles of BWA.

Only fanbase I've ever seen that refers to other fans as "you all".

I live in Tulsa and try to attend all the games I can in bwa but I prefer to say "we" when referring to hog folks in Little Rock.
I think it's great that WE had over 12,000 fans there for Sam Houston. I thought WE sounded very loud on the radio.

We are all razorback fans in my world.

That's all good, but Florida is better at center than we are, I doubt Kingsley sees many double teams
Every team double teams the post now a days...For whatever the reason.

fractured fanbase. We win a game half of our own fans bitch and sound like they're Aggie fans or Gators or something. Not fans of the Hogs. Always mad about something. If we lose, we suck. We win, the other team sucks. If we sign a great class, a group points back to recruiting failures of years gone by. Been disappointing to watch. I don't even recognize this fanbase anymore.

This is true. The older I get I try to just enjoy the wins and live in the moment and not let the losses ruin my mood the entire day.

Ulm 2012 was the turning point.

Your problem is you think this message board reflects the fan base. Need to get out and see fans in real world/real time.
