"Here a question arises: whether it is better to be loved than feared, or the reverse. The answer is, of course, that it would be best to be both loved and feared. But since the two rarely come together, anyone compelled to choose will find greater security in being feared than in being loved."

Sanchez has ZERO rebounds.

ZERO.
he is utterly useless and a horrible liability on offense.

Wish he woulda bulked up a bit more.

He's not a bad player at all.

Our built like twig guards getting worked.

We need the Bama weight trainer up here as soon as the season is over.

I am not watching the game anymore.  i assume you are talking about the Chez?
yep, the Sanchezinator. He airballed his first FT. It was embarrassing.

Undoubtedly he is a great kid with a really big heart, but it is just a sign of how far Mike has to go when he has to start him.

I just hope with Powell back next year along with the other recruits MA has coming in, we wont have to play guys like the Sanchezinator. Just no talent- not one ounce at all.

GS99

Well, we're young.m

Wait, they're younger.

At least their guys will be gone next year and maybe next year our guys can beat their new crop of NBA pre-roookies.

Easy.  Kentucky eased on the D and started walking time off the clock with 4 or 5 to go.
Hogs just are not at a level to make it a game  against a Kentucky.  Lots of reasons.  They are a couple or three classes away.

That should have counted as an exhibition game against an NBADL team.

I am always ready for Hog Ball!

The football season has no bearing on my excitement for basketball season to begin.

I know I'm in the minority, but I rank Hog basketball above Hog football every day of the week and twice on Sundays. Has a lot to do with the era in which I grew up, but for me personally there is just nothing better than watching the Hogs run up and down the court!
Woo Pig Sooiee!  Can't wait for the season to tip off.  I'm hoping for a much more competitive team this season.

ErieHog

When a supremely talented team plays pretty darn well, they usually have a fairly easy time dispatching a team with lesser talent and obvious holes, that plays more poorly than usual.

There's not a lot more to take from this game, than that.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

ZERO.

We can't count the ones that were taken from him?

I wish we could have seen Brandon in some mop up minutes there at the end. Guess he was not ready.

They got away with some stuff, but that is a good team.  Who can beat them?

riccoar

Anyone playing them away from Rupp. Home cooking was not needed but was plentiful.

Wish he woulda bulked up a bit more.

If I had to guess, I think his chronic foot problems caused him to choose a workout/training regimen that decreased bulk and weight, ideally without sacrificing strength or stamina. With what he has been through, injury-wise, he HAD to do something to lessen the stress on his feet.
