Now here is a poster we need to try and get into the mind of. Truly fasinating. And not being a smart As! or nothing, but OM can bring the pain on the most ardent fan. Question for OM. Do you call the game regardless if it has been played yet, or do you call it at the first sign of adversity?

If we are talking basketball, I'm not sure an opponent exists anymore where I feel good about our chances going into the game. 

If we are talking football, Nutt did a lot of damage to my confidence in the Hogs.  By the time Petrino came in, I was calling games at the first sign of adversity.  After season 2 of Petrino, I usually call games if we fall behind by 10 or more points.  Maybe by next year, I'll only call games if our defense is required to stop an offense to win a game.

Your right.  The real me is done with the BB team.  Tired of the arrests, tired of the players not being allowed to play, tired of players cursing coaches, tired of a coach who allows these thing to continue.  Everyone wants to give Pel another year.  Jason Henry started last year suspended...was suspended in mid-season and finished the season suspended.  Welsh comes back and Clarke's shots drop.  Heaven help Clarke when Fortson comes back...Clarke won't see the ball.

Spot on as usual Wayne. I'm done with bb too-FOR NOW. If Pel or preferably a new coach can put a decent, respectable program back out on the floor, I will gladly rejoin the fan club. Until then, there are better ways to spend my time. I HURT when we lose but if we look respectable, i can stand it and look forward to the next game. When we look like this year and last year's SEC schedule, i just cant watch.

Joe turns in about 6:30 this time of the year. Usually right after his last call in.

This is Robs Last year. He is more of a mentor and advisor to Pel. He's good in that role.

Maybe Pel should listen to Rob more often. When questioned about why the offense isn't structured in a manner to get Clarke more shots, his reply is that he isn't calling the shots. That would imply that he has offered advice that has not been taken.

I agree with you.i think Pel is the man for this job. and i think he is bringing in some good basketball players. Fortson is the best recruit we have had since Joe Johnson in my opinion.he is outstanding.all im saying is we need more impact kind of players like him. and i believe Pel and staff are working hard to get players like that in here.i love this freshmen class that came here with Fortson.but we are so close i feel one Derrick favors, type player away from being a top 15 program again.but i support Pel 100%.

You want to see where he's been wrong.  Look at the sig line on the previous post.  FCJ's opinon changes with the breeze.  People have the right to change their mind, but they shouldn't be lauded as all knowing when in reality they are just louder than everyone else.

Well, I've never seen Forrest City, nor have I ever heard him speak. I am picturing him, however, to look like sgt. Hulka in stripes. A tough talking, raspy voice, no-nonsense steel haired kind of guy, ramrod straight, someone who at this point in his life knows more than other snot noses such as ballhog1 or that sausage guy. I see him, like hulka, as pretty sick and tired of the brash young hot heads in here, impatient with the nonsense and bordering on being downright cranky. I may be way off base, but that's the way I'm seeing him. The fact he hasn't weighed in on this thread only adds to the mystique. From this point forward, I will be referring to FCJ as Sarge.
