What a big win...  solidly putting Pel out there as our best 1st year coach, and a chance to pay back Tennessee.  A NCAA berth...   Maybe this will put to bed any old talk about we would have done better with SH, from the few that said that. 

These strong game "finishes" are SO WELCOME after all these years.

I never wanted a loss in 1994! I wanted to win them all! We would've won it all that season no matter what!

I didn't want to lose, but it so often happens that teams with long winning streaks don't make the title game.  Sometimes the sting of that loss motivates that really good team.  I have no idea the percentages, but late season losses often SEEM to help top teams.  That said 34-0 would have been nice.

I can't imagine any team wishing to lose so that it would help them win in the future.  Maybe that ends up being the case but be assured this will not be TN attitude tomorrow!

Glad to see that we got the win- I got to see about the last 2 minutes of the first half that some loyal fan (thanks!) had on his laptop in the terminal.  Then when I landed back here in FSM I got to see the last minute before I picked up my baggage.
