So apparently the controller at Springdale was found unconscious and shirtless in the tower. Good grief.

It's a very slow airport, what's a guy supposed to do?

It's not, actually.  That airport is super busy.

Not really, for an airport of its size.

Actually, according to AirNav, Springdale is by far the busiest Class D airport around. It's even busier than some Class C airports, including XNA and Shreveport, "busy" being measured by number of operations/day.

I am in and out of there a lot. Seemed like a good bunch always friendly.  I would have never guessed.
