Every team has bad days, the season is a long way from being over.

"Stan Heath never had a loss this bad".

How easily we forget Western Carolina and Troy at the Bud.

How many seniors did he have on his team that year?

Let's just hope this our only terrible terrible game of the season

If Ap. St. plays like this the rest of the year, they will upset alot of teams.

what a bunch of losers...I cannot wait until every one of these players are gone....except Beverly...only one with any talent and desire..
I guess you didn't see Marcus Britt out there busting his butt on defense. Glad you are such a great evaluation of talent. Michael Washington and Britt have talent as underclassmen and played tough today. Britt is the reason we came back. He made 2 great defensive plays.

I noticed a lot of people having fun with Kentucky and their unhappiness with Gillespie.  You think they might be laughing a bit at us right now (even though one of their own is our coach)?

Probably.  Kentucky hasn't been Appalachian Stated yet this year.

and who could forget Bucknell?

While I wasn't happy about losing to Bucknell, I'll take losing to a Div-I A NCAA tournament team every day over losing to a Div I-AA team at home.

what an awful display of . . . . whatever they hell that was.  It wasnt basketball

Yes he did and many of them.... Ohhh those fond memories of the good ol Stan Heath Era

Name them.  He had some bad losses his first year here but he also didn't have a team that was returning from an NCAA tournament trip with 4 seniors.

Perhaps you missed Gardner Webb-   they're 5-8 in the Atlantic Sun, a conference on the same level as the Southern.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Well, we didn't do either today, so that's not an issue.

Marcus may not be great. but he gives you everything he has while he's out there. he needs to start hitting his shot.but i like what he brings to the team. the problems are clear. this team can not defend or shoot. and they can not play under pressure. they are just not very good.

Sorry.  I forgot that Little Rock is a "neutral" site.

My fault.  I thought Gardner Webb was Div. I-A.  Well, we still shouldn't throw stones in glass houses.

The Southern Conference is D1-A in basketball.

This doesn't change the level of embarrassment of us losing to them today and me being wrong about them being Div. I-AA.

It is certainly a massive embarrassment, but at least they're a .500 tournament-eligible team.   I'd rather lose to them than say--- Gardner Webb.
