Legs as in I think he will take it? No I don't think he will take it.

Legs as in he has talked to both the Kings and New Orleans about there Front Office and HC jobs, absolutely he has talked to them about it.

No doubt in my mind if he gets offered the right job for the right amount of money (about 10mill) in the NBA he will take it. I don't however think it will be the Kings

wish it was true but alas  he will never take this job   why not just wait another year or 2  let certain people know you are interested and watch how many fish come to your hook   there are some jobs of both GM and HC he could never get  Celtics Heat Lakers Knicks (at least now) Spurs Mavs Rockets are just a few that come to mind

Sure it has legs. I think he will wait until he and World Wide Wes gets Kentucky under investigation before he bolts for greener pastures. That's more his style.

He has the best and highest paid job in basketball right now....
SEC!

The Kings job is a pretty good job.  Low pressure, and you have one of the handful of true franchise guys, with a lot of personal loyalty to you in place.

Mind, the front office is a basket case, and the owner is insane.

No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Who in their right mind would want to live in SAC! or Cali!

Sacramento is a crap hole, no doubt, but the entire state of California isn't a crap hole. SF and the entire Bay Area really is one of my favorite places in the world in terms of food, culture, and business. Southern California has some of the world's best beaches and best climates.

Strange statement.

I can't see anyone offering him 10 million to coach. But that just me. But there a fool born everyday

If he goes somewhere, I think it is Cleveland to team with Lebron for the next 5+ years.

Indeed.  Don't throw all of California in the dumpster.

ALL of it ruined by outrageous taxes and restrictions. Visiting the Bay Area, LaJolla, San Diego, Monterrey, plus the State and National Parks are truly awesome and I would highly recommend . But living there.....

Several of my brethren have transferred from SoCal to the Metroplex over the past couple of years. Sold their homes, and enjoyed a huge pay increase, better housing, and no taxes.

Why would Cal leave a job where he can basically make millions while his team breaks rules?  He's Teflon Cal.

I would take California over any other state in the union -- if I could get a job that paid well enough to live there. Cost of living is out of this world. Taxes don't help, but the main problem is housing costs. Food costs are actually quite good, as California is the country's leading producer. Don't have the same transportation cost built into the price of food there as we do in the rest of the country. Seems like most of the produce in our grocery stores here in Tennessee comes from Watsonville.

In Northern California, we were within reasonable driving distance of quiet beaches, giant redwoods, mountains, and the fabulous Yosemite. You don't know natural beauty until you have been there. It is fashionable for wingnuts to dump on California -- you know who you are, you have a Pavlovian reaction to the word "liberal" -- but the state is an amazing place.

Amazing and ridiculously expensive to live in because of the way corporations out there throw around stock-based compensation.

Hey I don't disagree with you, the drive up the coast from Bodega bay on the PCH is beautiful.... also I have worked in both Simi Valley and San Jose as well as Flower Mound, Castle Rock, Nampa, and Ballwin, and obtw I'm far away from being a conservative. Wing-nut....now that was funny!

With all that stated.....California is a wonderfully beautiful state....but it has some very serious problems financially, politically, and nowadays, unfortunately, environmentally.

He keeps saying there is nothing to this rumor but that may mean just the opposite so he can continue to recruit until he finalizes the deal.
