He should have left.   He was never going to be a Top 5 pick-- ever-  not this year, not next year, not 2 years ago.

Exactly. He may have improved his stock by 5-10 spots, but not to top 5.

The question is though if he comes back why do you think he goes higher ... already All American, SEC player of the year .... skills probably not going to improve that much in college

There is a limit to what the college game can do for you, and Bobby hit that limit.   Leaving was the only real option.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

The Raptors might be an interesting fit.

They need a PF desperately.

You don't think his skills would improve?? He improved a ton year one to year two, why wouldn't he see a similar improvement to hear three? Im not talking about improving personal accolades, he could still improve his game.

difference between 18 pick and 20 pick is $110,000  not a lot in the scheme of things

I think he could improve immensely by getting thicker and stronger. He appears to be the type of hard worker who will improve his body. His improvement bodywise from his frosh to soph years was impressive and it is obvious he has the build to continue to continue with his growth

With the 20th overall pick of the 2015 NBA Draft,  the Toronto Raptors select......

DeLon Wright  PG- Utah

An NBA conditioning program, with unlimited workout and exercise management achieves that *far* better than the NCAA limited assistance at Arkansas.

It's a conspiracy. ESPN hates us. Is Arthur Blank there in Brooklyn tonight?

Crap - I feel like I'm watching the Ryan Mallett draft.

Because his athleticism won't change-- and that's his true NBA ceiling factor.  Not skill set.

Bulls.

He doesn't fit that roster, though.   They're looking to expand Mitoric's role, not find a replacement.

Would've been a better fit in Portland with Lillard. Oh well.

would love to see him join the spurs.

At this point, I would just love to see him join the NBA.

I'd love to see him go to Memphis, but they need shooters.

Portis to Portland does make a lot of sense if he is still there. Especially with Aldridge leaving.

With the 22nd pick of the 2015 NBA Draft, the Chicago Bulls select.....

Bobby Portis -  University of Arkansas

This smells like a trade.

Bulls getting a huge steal.  Sometimes the consistently good to great franchise keep looking smart because the worse, treadmill franchises make risky or straight up terrible picks.

Agreed.

Also makes me think if Portis went this low, Qualls hasn't got a prayer.

Ugh! Anyone but the Bulls!

Happy for him, but I hate anything to do with Chicago.
