Well, whatever his height....6-3...6-1...says he runs the 40 in 4.48, & weighs 205.  Nice.

Arkansas born, Arkansas bred, when I die I'll be a Razorback dead.

Congratulations to Mr. Alexy Jean-Baptiste and welcome to 'The Hill'.

A stud OLB or a stud safety...I don't care as long as he fills a need.

I wonder if he is related to Stanley Jean-Baptise?

Stanley is from Miami . Played cb @ Nebraska.
Drafted 2nd round by the Saints...

Stud!!

Same thing I was wondering. Unless Jean-baptiste is a popular Haitian last name like Jackson or Williams. Who knows; either way he's a stud.

He lists Stanley as his favorite NFL player so I'm assuming they're related

He also told RD that the only thing that would change his commitment to the Hogs would be Hargraves not being on staff

Vantage 8 dude

Besides having some decent size (did we ever decide if he was 6'3" vs 6'1" and 215 lbs vs. 205) the young man obviously has a major set of "wheels". A sub 4.5 forty time is definitely some speed when you consider the defensive position he's playing. ;D

Here is the LB he plans to recruit for Arkansas...

Dallas Jeanty: http://247sports.com/Player/Dallas-Jeanty-78702

He must be a silent commit to Wisconsin.

RyeHogFan

Awesome pickup. I would be surprised if we don't at least get a look from his teammates pictured above.

to a ford man, if you're driving a Chevy you're doing it wrong...I am sure 247 will be along and get it more complete for us..but at least one service confirming it means it has some merit.  Since he didnt visit, it doesn't show that we were recruiting him, and he had visited others, I was a little dubious until at least one of the sites reported it.

Why would you listen to a ford man in the first place?

Good.  Now all he needs to do is to get in the weight room work on his bench press a bit.

This. He should shut up and not argue with you on it.

Hey man It caught me off guard too.. The link posted in the thread, http://sports.yahoo.com/arkansas/football/recruiting/player-Alexy-Jean-Baptiste-164365. didn't specify. But if we have enough DBs and or OLBs with that kind of speed(4.48) it can't hurt anywhere the coaches place him. If he can gain 35 pounds of muscle and keep that speed You may see him toting the rock at some point too.. This guy should be listed as ATH... But I ain't arguing.. ;) PEACE...

Just looking at his profile Good Lord he has some offers. Not from a ton of SEC schools but from plenty of other P5 conferences. I believe it was 27 or 28 total offers and you know by February that could easily be 30-35.

The quality of recruit has gone up so much in recent years I'm still amazed were pulling guys like this from so far away.
