I'm going to say LSU with it being Nola

I'm going to ask a question for Gator to put on the answer board.

Which player holds the consecutive scoreless inning streak in D-1 NCAA history?  He is a very well known player.

Keith Weber at Missouri.

Correct!  Keith Weber's career ERA at Missouri was .56 through the 1963-64 seasons.  (Probably didn't face the Hogs back then)

Nope.

Clue 1 - He played in the MLB. Just not necessarily as a pitcher.

I want to guess Gary Gaetti now, only because I saw him pitch in a marathon Cubs game once.  I think he blew it, but I don't remember, I was just a kid.

New Rule:  you only get to post one guess.  Yes, I broke the rule, but i am the commissioner and the rule was not yet in place

Clue 3 - He was succeeded at his position in the other sport he played by maybe the greatest of all time at that position.

I thought you meant career and I cheated anyway.

I think it would be good to give like three clues per question to help and prevent cheating.

Scherzer?

Yikes.   Zimmerman?
Nope, Zimmerman was the first draft pick of the Washington Nationals though in 2005 out of Virginia.  That is assuming Ryan and not Jordan.

Scherzer?
Nope, Scherzer was the 11th overall selection of the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2006 out of Missouri.  Current hitting coach/recruiting coordinator Tony Vitello was his pitching coach in college.

Desmond if not Zimmerman
Correct, Desmond was selected in the 3rd round in 2004.

Another Expos question and a 2 parter:

-  First, who is the only active pitcher to have thrown for the Expos?

-  Second, which three players did the Expos trade to get him?  (Each player worth one point)

Wisco Pig

Bartolo Colon is the answer to part 1, I believe.

The pitcher is Bartolo Colon.  No idea who the Expos moved to get him.

NEA_HogFan

Bartolo Colon. And no didn't cheat lol. That's the only pitcher I can remember from the expos
