QuoteOne of Auburn's locker room favorites has decided to leave the program in search of another opportunity.

Defensive back Michael Sherwood is no longer with the team and will attempt to join another program as a graduate transfer.

A 5-foot-9, 175-pound former walk-on, Sherwood -- nicknamed "Dirty Mike" --

Sherwood was one of seven walk-ons to earn a scholarship during fall camp last year.

QuoteAccording to coach Gus Malzahn, Gonzalez is "in the process of looking for a junior college" and will not play at Auburn this season.

Gonzalez, a three-star safety, had been working to finish a high school course in order to become academically eligible. At SEC Media Days last month, Malzahn did not appear concerned about the status of Gonzalez.

Arkansas could have had Malzahn when Nutt left. With him at the OC position, he left with a 10 win season. Instead we got 2 losers, Petrino and Beliema. Malzahn brought Auburn from worse to first and played for the NC, what did we do, nothing, it took Beliema 2 yrs to even win a SEC game.

Your username is appropriate; you've been in a cave surrounded by immense amounts of stupid.
Have you ever listened to someone  or read what they put into thoughts and wondered...."who ties your shoelaces for you?"

One year trend. Brilliant.

Gus' seat is hotter than coach B's. If he doesn't best Bama this year he may get canned.....

But don't get too comfortable there, for Gus's leash is already getting yanked pretty hard by the Aubie faithful.
