Horrible rebounding and fouling everything that moved cost us the game. Then again, if they had hit 30% of their 3s we would have been run out of the gym.

Another road loss. Another one looming. Saturday is big game.

You're clueless.  REBOUNDS WERE EVEN.  Officiating was terrible.

If they shoot 30% from 3 we get run out of the gym. Blaming officials is for losers....oh wait.

They did have 5 extra offensive rebounds.

BannerMountainMan

5 offensive rebounds does not equal 28 more free throws

40 FT attempts with lots of bricks and bricks on lots of 3s will help with offensive rebounding I assure you.  They missed more FT than we even shot!!

Correct. I'd have taken a split this week. We may have lost that opportunity as Auburn is on fire right now with a damn good coach. At least they like to run so we won't have to think much and can just play....

We cannot lose Saturday

Would make us 1-2 in conference and behind 8 ball. Win it and back in race.

Rebounding and fouling is not what lost us the game. We always struggle in those areas.

We lost because Barford went 0-6 from three (only 11 points) and we got zero production from CJ Jones (a double digit scorer).

MSU had 34 missed FG and 17 offensive rebounds. That percentage (50%) is too high. You would like to stay around the 20-30% range. But the most frustrating thing was the offensive rebounds on free throws (some instances were such horrible misses from Adu or whatever) but still, free throws were the difference.

Have to find a way to overcome that on the road. Have another chance on Saturday against a tough Auburn team.

This...and even with this happening only lost by 3.  Also, production from the 4 spot has to step up on the road (Thomas and Cook).  However, Bailey was a huge bright spot there.
