We'll still be the red-headed stepchild...

Count on it.

I guess the only positive thing about the BCS poll is that your fate isn't ultimately decided on by a Washington State beat writer sitting around in Tacoma.

Quote from: jacksonpollackEvery time I look around in BWA I get dizzy. It is hard to judge the capacity. During the Auburn game I tried to count all the people in attendance but got lost at around 30,000.

It does not matter what we are ranked, only way we go to the BCS is to win the SECC game if not no BCS even if we don't make the SECC game.

Last week they had it posted at 6 pm... Before the Sunday night College Football game at 7. Is there a certain time that they update or post it? Or does it just change every week.

I need to know how I can fit "checking out the new BSC standing" into my weekly schedule.

I do NOT UNDERSTAND why we are not up there with the 1 loss Auburn tigers and Florida Gators. Talk about frustrating... its almost like we dont exist

Honor and Integrity no longer exist in the world of college football.  It is only filled with liar's cheater's, and traitors.

WoooPigSooie

No one is giving us the benefit of possibly only having 1 loss at seasons end.

I love being overlooked, I guess I should...

Still 13th, but out points went up a bit...

Jimmy Johnson gives us no love again this week. Says a one loss Florida, or Auburn team will make it to the NC.

razorbackfan4life

Is it possible for Arkansas to go to the NC game?  I mean if we win out, beating Tennessee, LSU, and Florida......that's saying something.  I know some teams will have to lose, but there's always a chance.

me thinks win out

Even MORE amazing than Auburn being #4 in the BCS is how TENNESSEE, who only lost to Florida by a single point, is behind CAL whom they beat 35-18...they were down 35-3 before TN pulled their starters and second team.

we would have to win out, win every game by a convincing margin, and then we would need to hope that everyone but either Ohio State or Michigan loses at least once, sometimes twice...

I figured that we would stay where we are, or maybe move up one spot because Cal, Tenn, Notre Dame, and Texas sneaked out victories. We really needed a couple of those guys to lose. If they all had of lost, we'd easil;y be in the top 10 right now.  But we cant really worry about it. Notre Dame and Cal will probably lose again if not twice (especially since they will have to play USC). And we get a shot at Tenn. So if we keep winning, our time will come.

we didnt move up cause no one lost in front of us

That doesn't mean a thing...we could certainly move up a spot the way 4 of the next 5 teams in front of us played this past weekend.  GOSH it would have been great had ND, Cal and TX all lost!! I was pulling for TN only so that our game with them is even bigger.

Clemson will move up a few spots I'd assume with their win over BC

That would be kinda hard considering Clemson played(and smashed) Georgia Tech.

It only matters in the End...and we Will be there!!!
This will keep the Hogs honest and out to prove that they are some Bad SOB's.

O'well...we can add to their sorrows in November!!

On a scale of "DGB is a Hog" to "Bobby had a girl on the back of that bike," how sure are you?

What really hurt us in the BCS points was that our computer average dropped from .710 to .600 after beating Ole Miss at home.  So, it almost totally negated the percentage points gained from the Coaches and Harris polls.

If no upsets occur next week, I expect another dip in the computer average due to playing ULM.  If that happens, Rutgers, and possibly Boise State, could jump us in the BCS standings.

SupaCrawf

Anyone else think we could beat Rutgers by 28?  Seriously, I think we can beat them and Boise State at the same time....
I'm kind of a big deal.

razorbackgolf

i agree if we win everything wil fall in place

Izual65

We beat Tenn and we'll jump up a ton. Others will fall. Then, if we beat MSU....and LSU...we should be top 7. Then..if we beat Florida......!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOP 4, AND MORE STILL WILL FALL!! NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP BABY

Incidentally, if anyone cares to know, "Anderson&Hester", "Colley Matrix", and "Wolfe" were the computer ratings that dropped us.  "Billingsley", which has us rated the lowest among all six computer polls, actually bumped us up a couple of spots, and "Massey" and "Sagarin" held steady.
