Seeing Sprinkle's name on this list shouldn't come as any surprise. In fact, if it weren't it would be a totally travesty. The trend that was set when D.J. won it, and with subsequent U of A TEs being a virtual "lock" to be on the list, should mean that every year when the Mackey Award roster is compiled the committee should merely look at who the Hog's starting TE and say "Next".
