one loss and some of you are putting Leach in as a fraud coach...If it was up to you guys to hire Nick Saban after he lost to UAB or Monroe, we would have missed out

The jury is still out for me on Leach.
They are 5-1 but played their first 5 games at home and have split their first 2 road games.

Schedule:
Montana St
Boise St (3-2)
Oregon St (1-5)
Nevada (1-5)
USC (5-1)
at Oregon (4-2)
at Cal (4-3)

WSU's remaining schedule...
Colorado (home)
Arizona (away)
Stanford (home)
Utah (away)
Washington (away)

Great win over USC and a good win at Oregon. But we'll see how they finish down the stretch.

Problem is even if we were top 25 (let's say 20-25) you are still 9th or 10th in the SEC.
Agreed.  If leach were coach we would be 14th in the SEC.  That's why we need someone who can recruit at least to the mid 20's level.

does he have the success year after year of Leach?
Leach is about .500 at Wazzu.  That's your definition of success?

I think what you are allowed (or excused) to say depends on the equity you've earned with the base.  Bielema hasn't earned any. Leach took an absolute bottom feeder to top 10 in the nation. There's a difference.
How much you wanna bet they don't finish in top ten?  You can even pick regular season or after the bowl games.  They are not that good.

Leach gives a little love to wms and he is now the greatest coach.

If anyone wanted to run for governor all they would need to do is compliment little rock and wms.

Leach is nothing but a pass happy Bielema.

Sloppy - check
Loudmouth and brash - check
Lose to inferior opponents - check
Win the occasional upset - check

Leach = Bielema

How many BIG12 championships did he win?

Do they have a championship for locking players in a closet?

Considering we have seen 0 since joining the SEC does it matter if he has won a conference championship anywhere else?  He took over teams that were bottom or close to bottom of their conferences and turn them into decent teams.

Sure hope so!

First of all nice use of the quote function.

Second of all you missed the whole point of the conversation.

I could explain it to you but I'll let you try and figure it out by yourself.

When you rely so much on one player, it's bad when he's off.

Five INT's.

Majority of football is relied on the QB. That is the same for almost every school in the NCAA.

He might would be here for awhile. He seems to not bolt from schools quickly.

I was reading an article about Washington St and Leach a while back.
That program was downright pitiful when Leach took over. Their own AD described them as the worst football program in D1. He flew 2000 miles to Florida to talk Leach into taking the job. He was convinvced Leach was the coach to turn them around.
Bet it would be hard to leave a program that is really yours in the way Washington St. is Leach's.
Best game I've watched all year - Washington St and USC.

Didn't that AD just leave to take the Nebraska job?

Yes - I bet the Leach hire and subsequent turn around of Washington St football had a lot to do with Nebraska going after him.
