I'm a Robb Smith fan but if we continue to let opponents score 30+ pts I say we hire Strong. He'd at least be a good recruiter.

Yeah, because Strong's defense has been great with all those 5* recruits he has on defense. They have given up over 45 points 4 of their 7 games this season.

Strong was never given a chance to succeed at Texas. Texas good ole boys wanted him gone before he coached his first game, for obvious reasons.

His defenses have been bad ass everywhere he's been except for Texas.  Don't confuse this one failure for lack of ability.  He's a great coach in a bad situation at UT.  Would be great on our staff.

Not disagreeing that he is in a tough situation. However, he took over play calling on defense at Texas and still gave up nearly 700 yards of offense to OU with every bit as much talent.
