I think Richt may be in a much better situation at Miami than he was at Georgia.

Funny how things work out sometimes.

We are about to find out how good they are. They haven't played anyone yet.  There first real competition is next. Florida State then they play North Carolina.
Lucky for them though is both games are at home for him.
If a man speaks and no woman is around to hear him, is he still wrong?

True. Even if they stumble, I think they are probably still better than Georgia this year.

They might be, but the east is a pretty weak conference.

The SEC-East division?....or you mean the ACC is a weak conference?

Both are pretty weak.

Playing in the ACC is always a better situation to be in than playing in the SEC.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

well yes. he is now coaching where the fan base can appreciate a 10 win season. georgia fans were stupid (like some hog fans) miami benefitted from it.

It was time for him to go from UGa.  Good for him he got to go back to where he played and probably finish his career.

Only question is why did Georgia go and get a coordinator to replace him?  I think it was a good call to get rid of him, but I figured they would go out and find a proven coach. Guess they are hoping to do the same thing they did when they hired Richt.

Bad move by the Dawgs and good move for the Canes.
If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

Both are pretty weak.

ACC is 3-2 against the SEC this year so far with 4 games to play. What's left  I would say worse case the ACC wins this year 5-4 at worse.

Clemson -USCe  Clemson wins
UGA -GT  UGA in a close game
Louisville - Kentucky.  Poor Kentucky if Louisville is sitting at 11-1 trying to make an impression on the playoff idiots it could hang 70 on them.
F$U -UiF.  Two teams that are just not good.   Could the stadium implode at halftime?
