Is Little E desperate?

It seems that there are going to be some changes in Little E's crew, as he fires Pete Rondeau and puts in Steve Hmiel as a temporary crew chief. Is this a sign that Little E is desperate and reaching for anything or is it just that he is worried that he wasn't going anywhere with Rondeau? Either way I could really care less, I am not a Earnhardt fan.

JR has his dads ego just not his ability yet . hmeil is a good CC he will not put up with crap . last night JR was saying yes sir and had lost his cockiness on the radio so maybe he's ready to learn. teresa E. may have crawled his butt or threatened to fire him cause he was definately subdued .
the guy can drive but you don't turn your crew against you 2 seconds here and there on pit stops cost races .
