After Ohio State trucks Wisconsin, and they will.  You are going to have SEC champion Auburn or Georgia in the playoffs along with the Clemson/Miami winner.  Then you have 11-2 Ohio State, 11-1 Alabama and we'll presume 12-1 Oklahoma if they beat TCU.  I think Alabama gets in over one of those two.

UCF could finish undefeated and will not be in the playoff conversation.  Perhaps it is time for the lines of Division 1 football to be reconfigured.  If only the power 5 conferences are going to be admitted into the playoffs then a new division should be setup with the remaining d1 conferences with their own championship game.  Otherwise they have no national title to shoot for since they're not taken seriously relative to the power 5.  How does anyone know that UCF couldn't beat OU or Wisconsin unless they play it out on the field?

The other solution is to expand to an 8 team playoff.
