He was headed to Nebraska if he went the football route out of high school.

Quote from: ukchingy on Today at 03:11:23 pmGive that up, Cal is loyal to Cal people. That's one of the reasons Kentucky fans had such a problem with him. Sometimes there are guys on the staff that need to be replaced, but if they are one of his people he will not make that change.

We are used to it.  Muss hired his kids. Mike hired his nephews.

Quote from: Tuskeroni Soprano on Today at 02:59:17 pmNo, I just don't need to write a book to make my point clear. Heading into year 5, our head coach is below .500. And until proven otherwise, he is not fit as a coach in the SEC.

He wins 8 this year, I'll be here to say I was wrong.

You'll and your alts/others like you will be calling for him to be fired twice as loudly in that scenario because the wins were all due to Petrino and we need to get that money funneled to him so that he doesn't leave.

However, during the season, each win will be some sort of a fluke or a moral loss, and each loss will more indicative of where the team truly is. If we do well, it'll again be a lucky guess on G5 backup qb that won't be able to be repeated, etc...

Hedgecock ruined the season for me

Not complaining, just how it is

I am nobody but I want them to be happy and successful so this team's hitting has made me upset to the point I can't wait to get a new team on the field

Wow one thing that caught my attention was that Cal's attorney said Hunter forgave him for all the horrible things he said about him regarding the Bielema lawsuit.  This may give a little insight on why it was so hard for us to find a coach last go around.

Quote from: Philip Seaton on Today at 09:37:30 amTongue-in-check. Good thing he didn't say on the sane podcast that good point guard is worth $10 million dollars, some would believe that too.

You remember two years ago? Nick Smith and TB getting hurt? Just an example.

Now, you get into game action and two players foul out. Even with 13, you are down to 9. But now try that if your roster is at 10 as some of you think, then you are down to 6 scholarship players. Close game goes into overtime and two more foul out. You can't play the GA and the walks on have to play. You lose that close game and the same people on here saying you don't need 13 scholarship players will be the first to be complaining that Cal didn't fill out his roster.

Cal said at his presser that final roster would not be taking shape until the draft stuff was settled. This impatience leads to silliness. He will probably go with 12 and save the 13th for someone falling into his lap (late summer coaching change, etc.), and I have no freaking clue just common sense, but regardless, patience young grasshoppers, patience.

Can you name the last time 4 scholarship players fouled out for the Razorbacks?

Damn top! You get fired already?!?!
