Manny Watkins Redshirting?

Was listening to Jimmy Whitt interview on 99.5, and they mentioned Jimmy and Manny's friendship and they said "Redshirt Freshman Manny Watkins".  Was he granted a redshirt last year, or is he planning to redshirt this year?

He couldn't have been granted a redshirt for last season. He played in games late in the year. He might be redshirting this season tho.

Pat Jenkins is one of the least knowledgable "media types" in NWA. That guy screws up his words all the time. Fuller and Nabors are the only two regulars who speak on-air, from that station, who consistently have a clue of what they're talking about. Due diligence is right.

imho, this is probably what happened. Last time we had a redshirt in BB. Ulysses S. Grant was a cadet.

Wish he had some eligibility. He bought my friend's home in LR years ago. House had high ceilings so U.S. could practice long shots. ;)

That was a medical RS taken during his RS-sophomore season. He originally took a redshirt during the 2007-08 season as a freshman to give his knee additional time to heal.

Sanchez might have been better had he gone to a smaller school like Tulsa or Arkansas State or UALR
