We need to get Brick Haley in here coaching DLine, and we need him to bring this guy with him.

Interestingly Michael Thompson has a 4* teammate, Jalani Williams https://247sports.com/player/jalani-williams-45573288 in the 2019 Class who 247sports is showing as Warm to Arkansas. It would definitely be nice to develop a pipeline of talent from St. Louis.

Haley is a strong recruiter and DLine coach who was with John Chavis at LSU. He got his start in coaching as a Grad Assistant at Arkansas. He's currently at Mizzou.

Snout team

Yes please. Anyone know why Thompson didn't sign early?
The scout team (snout team) is an important part of the team although it gets little credit.

I've been saying for a while we need to hit St. Louis area hard.  Not a lot of allegiance there to Mizzou or anywhere else.  Ohio St of all people have been getting St. Louis kids.  Illinois is horrible as always so nothing there and Mizzou has been inconsistent at best.  We could grab some of these guys with a strong effort there.

Hell you hire him for DL based on name alone lol!

Yeah, that's gotta go up there with Dirt Winston.

Brick and Odom are very close. He promised he would be around as long as Jordan Elliot is on the team.  He's a transfer from Texas. However, as goo as he is, it might be for one year.  Also, there is some personal reasons why he wants to stay in Columbia, at least for now.

Yeah we said the same thing about Sam Pittman

He vacations with Bielema, promised his players, and his parents live in Oklahoma

Pittman was gone the day Chaney left.

The friendship doesn't keep coaches around. But, Brick's personal reason for staying in Columbia might keep him there. He's had offers after the season and has turned them down. But who knows?
